Named after the "princess Leia" in Star Wars...

Leia Jacoutot is an actress and dancer currently based in Paris.

Her acting debut was in London at the Drayton Arms theater in a production of Playhouse Creatures by April De Angelis, followed by a role in a new play called Crazy for Loving you at the Union Theater.

She then left Europe to study at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute making her American debut in a production of Eurydice by Sara Ruhl at the Marilyn Monroe Theater, followed by musical performances and workshops at the Irma Sandrey Theater. She also got the chance to act in an Off Broadway Theatre (Theatre for the new city) in a play called Kasturba vs Gandhi.

Outside of her work in theater,  Leia has been part of a number of short films and commercials.

As a dancer, she was in a production of  West Side Story at the Forum des Images, and The Little Prince at the Châtelet Theater in Paris. 

She also loves to write, travel and listen to old rock music.

 Leia hopes to share stories around the world that'll make people laugh and cry.
